How much does a lawyer cost in Spain?

Lawyers in Spain set their own fees: there are no official rates. The lawyer who contacts you gives you a quote before you hire them. Ask for a fixed price in writing.

Is this service really free?

Yes. Sending a request costs you nothing and you are not obliged to hire anyone. Lawyers pay Ayuda Trámites for referrals; that does not change what you pay.

Can I speak to a lawyer in English?

Yes. Choose English in the form and we pass your request on to a lawyer who speaks English.

How do I know the lawyer is registered?

We only work with practising lawyers registered with a Spanish bar association. You can check any lawyer by name or number in the Censo de Letrados of the Spanish Bar Council.

What happens to my personal information?

We send your request to one lawyer only. Your name, contact details and note are deleted after 90 days.
